Celebrated rock photographer Peter Beard is recovering after suffering a stroke. The snapper, who has shot classic pictures of artists including The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, collapsed on Friday (22Nov13) and is now said to be recovering at his family home in Montauk, New York.
The 75 year old suffered paralysis down his left side, according to his wife, Nejma.
She tells the New York Daily News, “He was found by our daughter Zara. He was paralysed on his left side, but is now improving. The whole Beard clan is very, very upset right now.”
