Former Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford is eyeing a role in the upcoming spin-off – as a dad.
The actor, who played teenager Nate Archibald in the original Gossip Girl, had nothing but positive things to say about the new project during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (August 1, 2019), insisting he’d love to be a part of it.
Chace, who is currently playing womanizing superhero The Deep in Amazon Prime hit The Boys, said, “I could maybe come back and play a father or something.”
And that might just happen – Josh Schwartz, the executive producer for the new Gossip Girl spin-off, has said he would love the original cast members to be involved.
The new show, a continuation of the original series which ended in 2012, will follow a new group of wealthy New York teenagers. It will air next year.
