Channing Tatum’s representative denies cheating allegations

Channing Tatum’s representative has denied reports suggesting the actor cheated on his estranged wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

The couple stunned fans by announcing the end of its almost nine-year marriage on Monday (02Apr18), and in a joint they insisted that no one had come between them.

“There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of the decision,” the stars wrote.

However, editors at In Touch magazine ran a story with a headline reading: “Fans Are Still Convinced Channing Tatum Cheated on Jenna Dewan,” on Tuesday, suggesting there was a little infidelity.

Channing’s representative has fired back at the publication’s bosses, telling Gossip Cop the reports are, “absolutely untrue and completely ridiculous”.

In their joint statement, Channing and Jenna insisted they would not comment further on their split, but explained they wanted to announce their separation together so they could be honest with their fans.

“We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into ‘alternative facts’, so we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction,” the statement read.

“We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”
