Charges against Michelle Rodriguez dropped

Girlfight actress Michelle Rodriguez may need some anger management classes, but she won’t be going to jail for fighting.

Her roommate, Louise Ann Ward, 21, has dropped the assault and harassment charges she brought against the actress last month.

Ward filed the charges on Mar. 16 after she claimed Rodriguez attacked her in their Jersey City apartment, punching her, pulling her hair and refusing to let her leave the apartment. Ward suffered a swollen right eye and a laceration, while Rodriguez was treated for a bite wound on her arm.

In the Jersey City Municpal Court Thursday, however, Ward told the judge she did not want to go forward with the charges.

The Associated Press reports the two women walked out of the courthouse together, and Rodriguez said, “Friends fight and then they make up.”
