Charles Dance ‘confused’ by Game of Thrones conclusion

Former Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance was “confused” by the TV show’s finale.
The British actor, who played Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion Lannister’s father Tywin in the fantasy drama until he was killed off in season five, admitted he wasn’t convinced about how the characters’ storylines concluded during the show’s final episode on Sunday (19May19).
“I was confused. I’ve watched as much as I can because there are characters like Daenerys – her character and my character never met – so I wanted to know what was happening to these people,” he explained during an appearance on U.K. show Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
“I got to the very end and I thought, ‘Hmm, okay.’ There’s little Arya, she’s going off on a cruise somewhere; poor Jon’s gone back to the North, beyond the Wall, and then there’s Tyrion and all the people left alive are sat around the table, ‘What are we going to do now? Shall we have a cup of tea?’ I thought, ‘Agh, I don’t know.'”
At the end of the episode, Maisie Williams’ character Arya Stark set sail to explore what’s west of the continent of Westeros, and Kit Harington’s Jon Snow returned to the Night’s Watch.
The 72-year-old actor isn’t the only one to express his disappointment with the show’s final season, as more than a million people have signed a petition calling for it to be remade.
