Charlie Brown is tops for Thanksgiving on Rotten Tomatoes list

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving has been named the Best Reviewed Thanksgiving-themed movie of all-time.
The animated classic scored a solid “100 per cent fresh” on RottenTomatoes.com, four per cent more than 2016’s independent film favourite Krisha, which came in second on the list.
Erik Davis, the managing editor of the website’s parent company Fandango, isn’t surprised the Peanuts characters topped the countdown, telling WENN, “There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about those Peanuts holiday specials and they still resonate with audiences decades later. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is still one of the most entertaining ways to teach families about the true meaning of Thanksgiving and never fails to delight my kids.”
John Candy and Steve Martin’s comedy Planes, Trains and Automobiles came in third with 92 per cent, while Hannah & Her Sisters and Scent of a Woman rounded out the top five.
Katie Holmes’ 2003 movie Pieces of April, The Ice Storm, Avalon, Tadpole, and Addams Family Values complete the top 10.
