The unidentified man, who was a person of interest and not a suspect, pulled a gun on himself after detectives approached him in the lobby of the Harvey Apartments in Los Angeles and tried to speak to him.
Lt. Tony Lee, of the Beverly Hills Police Department, tells People.com, “This was not a guy we were going to arrest, we only wanted to question him.”
Public relations mogul Chasen was shot multiple times while driving through Los Angeles on her way home from the Burlesque movie premiere last month (16Nov10).
