Chelsea Handler: ‘I’d love to find someone to love’

Chelsea Handler has had a change of heart when it comes to relationships.

The TV host has made numerous headlines through the years for her relationships with famous faces, including a one-off encounter with rocker Lenny Kravitz, a two-and-a-half year relationship with businessman Andre Balazs, and her much-publicized, five-month fling with rapper 50 Cent. And while she’s been telling the world she’s happy living the single life, the 44-year-old confessed during an interview on Monday’s episode of The Talk she would, in fact, like to find love again.

“I have a pretty good life, so I’m happy if I don’t find a relationship,” the star began, before adding, “but I would love to find someone to love.’

The remark earned the comedienne a round of applause from the studio audience, and Chelsea, 44, went on to confess her change of heart came about after she underwent a period of therapy.

“I have changed my mind about being open to relationships, because I thought I was tough for a really long time,” she reflected. “What I learned through therapy is that being really tough is actually being vulnerable.

“I thought I would sound weak if I said (I wanted a relationship).”
