Cher is single again after love split

Pop icon Cher has sparked speculation she has split from her longtime boyfriend Tim Medvetz after declaring herself to be a single woman once again. The Believe hitmaker, 67, has dated the former Hell’s Angel on/off since 2008, and the pair was at the centre of wedding rumours last August (12), but Cher swiftly denied the claims.
Now in a new interview, the pop star reveals she recently went through a love split, and insists she is in no rush to find another partner.
She tells Britain’s Notebook magazine, “I just broke up with someone but I need a little bit of a break. I don’t believe in going from one (relationship) to another – I have girlfriends that won’t leave someone they’re with until they have someone to move on to and you just can’t do that.”
When asked if she would walk down the aisle for a third time, the singer admits she prefers being a girlfriend to a wife: “I don’t really think about it, but I wouldn’t say no. I just can’t think why I would. Something really bizarre would have to happen. I like being in a relationship and I’m a really good girlfriend. But you know, you have periods where you’re with someone and relationships have their own life. I’m kind of fatalistic about those things.”
Cher was previously married to Sonny Bono and musician Gregg Allman. She has also dated Warren Beatty, Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise.
