Chloe Grace Moretz named in Time’s Influential Teens list

Chloe Grace Moretz’s opinionated views have seen her land a spot on Time magazine’s list of the 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016.
The 19-year-old actress has hit headlines for various reasons over the past year, including hitting out at Kim Kardashian after the reality star posted a nude selfie on social media.
However, while Chloe’s remarks have undoubtedly contributed to an increased worldwide profile, the Kick-Ass star admitted in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she has learned the hard way that a quiet voice is often the most effective.
“Being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful,” she said. “Sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to… let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful.”
As well as Chloe’s comments on Kim Kardashian, she has also been very vocal about her political views, campaigning for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid.
Other famous faces to land a spot on the list include Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith, who both also made the list last year (15).
Kylie – the youngest member of the world-famous Kardashian/Jenner clan – was recognised for her “willingness to experiment with outsize looks – plumping her lips, dying her hair and using bright makeup in bold combinations.” The 19-year-old has achieved huge success with her Lip Kit range, fuelled by fans’ desire to recreate her surgically-enchanced pout.
Meanwhile, Jaden Smith – the son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith – featured on Time magazine’s list thanks to his “rebelling against mainstream culture.”
The 18-year-old has made a name for himself with his unique sense of style, wearing skirts and dresses, as well as bizarre comments such as that in a recent interview in which he claimed he “used to be a vampire”.
Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, singers Zara Larsson and Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello were also named on the list.
