Chris Brown and Drake live team-up cancelled – report

Drake and Chris Brown’s plans to reveal their collaborative track during a live show have been scuppered because Brown’s criminal record restricts the countries he can visit, according to a U.S. report. The now-reconciled former rap rivals sparked rumours of a team-up when they were snapped together in a studio in July (14), and editors at TMZ.com report Drake had invited Brown to join him on stage at OVO Fest in his hometown of Toronto, Canada on Monday (04Aug14).
However the plans have now reportedly been scrapped after Brown’s management team realised Canada’s strict laws on allowing convicted criminals to enter the country would make it difficult for the Kiss Kiss singer to cross the border from the U.S.
Brown was released from jail in June (14) after more than two months behind bars for failing to complete a court-ordered stay in a rehabilitation facility. He is due to stand trial in September (14) in a separate case for allegedly assaulting a man in Washington, D.C. in October (13).
