Embattled actor Chris Tucker has moved to tackle his spiralling tax debts by paying off a $1 million (£625,161) chunk of his large bill. The Rush Hour star owes a reported $12 million (£7.7 million) to America’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the state of Georgia.
He recently sold off his Los Angeles mansion for around $1 million, and it has now emerged he has started making payments to reduce his tax debt.
Tucker has paid off just under $1 million of the bill, according to TMZ.com.
