Christina Aguilera launches hair styling collection

Christina Aguilera’s perfectly coiffed locks can now be copied at home as she has partnered with supermarket chain Lidl on a range of hair tools.

The blonde star has teamed with the German budget retailer on a line of super affordable hair styling accessories, including a hairdryer, an LED straightener, a mini-straightener, curling tongs, a 3-in-1 styling iron, a blower brush, and five hairbrushes to comb, detangle or blow-dry.

Products will range from $13-$22, with fans in the U.S. able to snap up Christina Aguilera’s offerings from 11 December (18), while U.K. residents will have to wait until 3 January for the products to land in store.

Lidl is no stranger to working with big-name stars; executives have been collaborating with model Heidi Klum on a fashion line since 2017, with the German native launching her fifth drop in September.

Mother-of-two Christina is already recognized in the beauty market for her perfumes, and she was previously acted as a spokeswoman for MAC’s VIVA Glam.

Once known for her bold hair and dramatic make-up, the 37-year-old unveiled a bare-faced look on the cover of Paper magazine earlier this year.

“I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” she told the magazine. “I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
