Christina Aguilera Teases New Album in Social Media Post

Christina Aguilera has hinted a new record is on the way in a cheeky social media post.

The Fighter hitmaker hasn’t released a studio album since she unveiled Lotus back in 2012, which included singles Your Body and Just a Fool.

But Christina has now promised fans that brand-new music is on the way, taking to her Instagram Stories page on Monday (22Jan18) to respond to a fan who had sent her an image of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles with a note reading, “Dear Christina Aguilera. Where the f**k is the new album??”

Re-posting the image, the 37-year-old added the caption: “It’s coming, b**ches…”

Early last year (17), Christina hinted that she was working on fresh tunes when she uploaded a black and white image of herself by a piano with the caption, “Finishing touches to my heart.”

In recent years, the star has made appearances on other artists’ songs, teaming with Pitbull on Feel This Moment and A Great Big World’s Say Something in 2013, as well as featuring on a remixed version of Do What U Want by Lady Gaga.

She also had a stint as a coach on the reality TV series The Voice, and last performed live at the 2017 American Music Awards in November (17), where she paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston.
