The Fatal Attraction star has enjoyed a lengthy movie career dating back to the 1980s, and bosses at the San Sebastian International Film Festival have decided to recognise her contribution to Hollywood.
She will receive the Donostia Award during a lavish ceremony on 18 September (11), when she will also present her latest movie Albert Nobbs to audiences.
Previous recipients of the honour include Pretty Woman stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, as well as Sir Ian McKellen, Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep.
