Collette reunites with Muriel’s Wedding director Hogan

The beloved 1994 comedy launched Collette into the bigtime and started her and co-star Rachel Griffiths’ Hollywood careers. Hogan, who helmed the project, also went on to big things – the success of the film landed him the director’s role on Julia Roberts’ hit My Best Friend’s Wedding and Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Now the pair is joining forces again for Hogan’s first Australian film since Muriel’s Wedding, entitled Mental.

The movie will focus on the Moochmore family, telling the story of a local politician and his five daughters, and is set to start shooting later this year (11).
