Columbus Short denied permission to move back home

Scandal star Columbus Short has been given just two hours to collect his belongings from his marital home after his estranged wife obtained a restraining order against him. The actor was ordered to move out of the California home he shared with Tanee McCall-Short last week (15Apr14) after she accused him of threatening her life during a recent bust-up.
He appealed the ruling and headed back to court on Wednesday (23Apr14) to seek permission to move back in, but the motion was denied.
Instead, the judge granted Short brief access to the house on Monday (28Apr14) so he can gather his possessions, although his attorney must be present during the visit, reports TMZ.com.
The news comes months after McCall-Short filed for divorce to end their eight-year marriage.
It’s the latest personal drama for Short – he is facing trial for a charge of felony aggravated battery last month (Mar14) following a bar brawl.
