Comic book icon Lee teams up with Japanese hitmaker

Just days after announcing plans to work with R&B star Ne-Yo, Lee – the man behind animated superheroes Spider-Man and The Hulk is teaming up with one of Asia’s most influential music artists and the man behind rock act X Japan.

The odd couple has joined forces to develop a music Super Hero comic book and motion comic series, which is set to hit shelves in 2011.

Lee says, “When I met Yoshiki, I was so impressed with his musical talents and unique creative eye, that I knew immediately I wanted to work with him on something special where we could combine our strengths. Creating a music Super Hero character was the natural evolution of our efforts.”
