Coroner confirms Mark Salling’s death was suicide by hanging

Los Angeles Coroner’s Office experts have ruled tragic actor Mark Salling died from hanging.
The former Glee star’s death certificate has been released and it lists Salling’s cause of death as asphyxia by hanging.

He was found hanging from a tree near his home in Sunland, California.
The coroner previously determined he had taken his own life.

Toxicology results are still pending – these will determine whether the actor had been drinking or taking drugs prior to hanging himself.

Salling was awaiting sentencing on possession of child pornography charges at the time of his death last month (Jan18).
