Country star BRETT ELDREDGE has been named as one of the judges of the 2016 Miss America beauty pageant.
The Don’t Ya hitmaker will be one of seven celebrity panellists who will decide the winner from 52 women representing their home states and territories.
Eldredge tells People.com, “I get to judge Miss America! Are you kidding me? Talk about a dream come true. I can’t wait to be a part of this.”
Now in its 95th year, the 2016 Miss America pageant will take place on 13 September (15) at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
No other celebrity judges have yet been named for the 2016 event, but in recent years they have included Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, basketball star Amar’e Stoudemire and U.S. gymnast McKayla Maroney.
