Country star Trace Adkins back on the road after rehab

Country star Trace Adkins has announced plans for his first tour following a rehab stint at the beginning of 2014. The singer checked himself into a treatment facility to battle alcohol issues after quitting a music cruise following an altercation with an impersonator, but he now insists he’s “recharged” and ready to get back on the road.
He tells WENN, “I’m excited, recharged… I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of encouragement and support over the past few months. It’s hard to put into words how much comfort you take from hearing, ‘We’ve got your back’. So these shows are for you guys – thanks.”
Adkins’ 32-date summer tour with his six-piece band, the Sarepta Gentleman’s Club, will begin at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey on 5 June (14).
