Courteney Cox is set to star in a new series based on the life of reality TV academic adviser Brittany Wagner.
The former Friends star is developing the project for Spectrum Originals, marking her first return to the small screen since her show
Cougar Town wrapped in 2015.

The as-yet-untitled venture, which will feature Cox as Wagner, is inspired by the Netflix documentary series Last Chance U, which follows coaches, players and staff at East Mississippi Community College, where student athletes attempt to land unlikely careers with top football teams.
Wagner, who served as the academic adviser for the student athletes on the series, has since launched her own company and become a motivational speaker.
