Courteney Cox: ‘I’m not focused on getting married right now’

Courteney Cox and her boyfriend Johnny Mcdaid won’t be rushing a second engagement after breaking off their first in 2015.
The former Friends star and the Snow Patrol rocker broke up and took a break from each before reconciling in 2016, and Cox insists they are in no rush to get engaged again, amid rumours the couple has secretly wed.
The 54 year old insists she is not a married woman and it’s not a focus in her life right now.
“We’re not married, but it’s not an elephant in the room for us,” she told U.S. show The Talk. “It’s OK, whatever happens we’re just focusing on the goodness of where we are and that’s what we’re doing.”
Courteney and Johnny’s relationship strategy seems to be working because the actress insists they are better than ever – despite being in a long distance romance.
“It’s actually the best it’s ever been,” she said. “I don’t know what’s happening, but we’ve been together for a long time. We broke up for a while, we got back. I don’t know, I just think things are the best they’ve been.
“And yes it’s far, but I love London. I don’t like the flight home…, but we just make it work… We try not to spend more than two or three weeks apart…”
Last month (Jan19), Cox opened up about how the couple’s time apart made it stronger.
“We broke off our engagement and he moved to England, then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before,” she told U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
