Crash Test Dummies reunite to celebrate 25th anniversary of hit album

Nineties rockers Crash Test Dummies have reunited for a North American tour to mark the 25th anniversary of their hit album God Shuffled His Feet.
The Canadian bandmates last performed together 17 years ago.
They will perform the album in its entirety, as well as other fan favourites, including Superman’s Song and The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead, at concerts scheduled to begin at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota on 23 November (18).
The shows will feature the group’s original line-up, Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts, and Mitch Dorge.
“After a huge hit in Canada with our folksier debut album, our next effort was dubbed ‘too new a sound’ by our Canadian compatriots,” Brad Roberts recalls of his hit album. “In America, however, it managed to pique the interest of a new and frankly much larger group of listeners and soon Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm became a bona-fide hit south of our border, and eventually all over the world.
“It was a wild ride for us that year. Now we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary reuniting with our original line-up and dusting off our old set lists. It will be the first time we’ve toured with the full band since 2001, and we’re very excited about it.”
God Shuffled His Feet hit number one in Austria and New Zealand and also reached the top five in Australia, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The album peaked at number two in the U.K. and hit the top 10 in the U.S.
The band’s biggest hit, Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, featured prominently in this year’s (18) movie comedy Tag, and Jeremy Renner sang the track over the film’s end credits, accompanied by castmates Ed Helms, Jon Hamm, and Hannibal Buress.
