Crowdfunding site set up for Daryle Singletary’s funeral expenses

Fans of tragic country star Daryle Singletary have been invited to donate to a fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses for the late singer.
Singletary, 46, died unexpectedly on 12 February (18), leaving his wife Holly to raise their four young children as a single parent.
Now friends of the musician have gathered to launch a YouCaring crowdfunding campaign online to provide a little financial relief for his widow as she plans his memorial service.
All donations will benefit The Daryle Singletary Foundation Keepin’ It Country fund at the Franklin Synergy Bank in Nashville, Tennessee.
The news emerges days after Platinum Records Nashville boss, Greg Hudik, decided to release Singletary’s final recording, She’s Been Cheatin’ on Us, with all proceeds going to a fund for the singer’s family.
However, the move prompted Daryle’s business partner, Chuck Rhodes, to have a cease and desist notice sent to Hudik, insisting the song was never intended for commercial release as it had simply been recorded as a demo. He also claimed no such charity fund had been established for the family.
Hudik has since offered to pull the song from retailers, if that’s what Holly Singletary wants.
