The Gladiator actor is to team up with his Robin Hood co-star Alan Doyle to perform two nights of music at the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk festival in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
They will be joined on stage by fellow Robin Hood stars Scott Grimes and Kevin Durand, Crowe’s singer wife Danielle Spencer and Irish duo Size2shoes.
Crowe, who has called the shows an “indoor garden party”, writes in a post on Twitter.com, “Alan Doyle and I will be singing tunes and telling stories from the Crowe/Doyle songbook LSPU Hall Aug 3 & 4 with special guests.”
Crowe and his crew previously entertained guests at the Cannes Film Festival in France last year (10).
The shows will take place at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s on 3 and 4 August (11).
