Daft Punk’s Get Lucky remains Britain’s top song

French electro superstars Daft Punk have scored a second week on top on Britain’s pop charts. The duo landed its first ever U.K. number one last week (ends28Apr13) with Get Lucky, and the French dance music stars have managed to stave off competition from Rudimental and Ella Eyre’s Waiting All Night, which holds steady at number two, while Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis jumps up two places to three.
Let Her Go by Passenger comes in at four on the new chart, while Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris’ collaboration I Need Your Love rounds out the top five.
Meanwhile, Rudimental’s debut studio album, Home, has debuted at number one on the album chart, pushing To Be Loved by Michael Buble into runner-up position, while Pink’s The Truth About Love comes in at three.
