Daniel Kaluuya in talks to star in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panthers film

Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya is reportedly in talks to portray late African-American activist Fred Hampton in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther Party film.
The filmmaker, who also directed superhero film Black Panther, is producing a movie about the late leader of civil rights protest group and he is keen to reunite with the actor on the new project.
According to Deadline, Lakeith Stanfield is in negotiations to portray William O’Neal, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informant who gave authorities information about Hampton’s apartment before the raid that led to his death in 1969.
Shaka King will direct and co-produce the film from his own script, co-written by Will Berson. The project, chronicling Hampton’s rise through the ranks of the controversial political party, will be told from O’Neal’s perspective.
