Danielle Bradbery recovering after car accident

Country singer Danielle Bradbery was forced to pull out of a festival gig in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday (22Jun19) after she was involved in a car accident.
The Worth It star, who rose to fame after winning season four of U.S. talent show The Voice in 2013, broke the news to fans in a post on Instagram, insisting she would be fine, although she was saddened to have to skip the 2019 Country LakeShake Festival.
“I’m so bummed I’m going to miss out on all the fun in Chicago today,” she posted. “I was in a car accident on my way to the airport, however I’m o.k. Getting checked out now and going to get some rest.”
The message was captioned: “Devastated to not be able to get to @lakeshakefest today. See you all soon.”
The news was also shared online by festival organisers as they alerted ticket holders to the line-up change.
“Danielle Bradbery will not be performing at LakeShake tonight,” officials began. “Unfortunately she was in a car accident. She is ok, but very sore. We wish her a speedy recovery!”
Although Bradbery had to bow out of the three-day event, fans were still treated to headlining performances by Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan.
