Danny Boyle to explain Olympics Opening Ceremony in film

Britain’s The Guardian reports the Trainspotting director is currently editing a feature-length version of the colourful show, which will help fans understand what was going through his mind as he planned sequences about the Industrial Revolution and Britain’s National Health Service.

Reports suggest Boyle will add more classic movie scenes, which time constraints prevented him from showing at the beginning of the Olympics last month (Jul12), to the film.

The Isles Of Wonder ceremony, which included segments featuring James Bond Daniel Craig, Kenneth Branagh, The Queen and soccer star David Beckham, was savaged by some critics who felt it was too confusing.
