Darius McCrary accused of abusing wife and child

Actor Darius Mccrary has been ordered to stay away from his wife and baby girl amid allegations of domestic abuse.
Tammy Brawner claims the star, best known for 1990s sitcom Family Matters, has been struggling with substance and alcohol addictions and often flies into violent rages when he returns home.
On a number of occasions, he has thrown objects around the house, coming close to hitting their daughter, 16-month-old Zoey.
The former basketball player also alleges McCrary frequently spanks the child and once even held the tot over a pot of boiling water and declared he regretted having the child.
In her court papers seeking the protective order, Brawner also reports being smacked in the head with his forearm during one of his outbursts on 10 February (17).
A U.S. judge has since granted Brawner the restraining request and has ordered McCrary to move out of the shared property and stay at least 100 yards (91 metres) away from his spouse and their child, reports TMZ.com. The actor, 40, has also been stripped of visitation rights until the case is heard in another hearing next month (Mar17).
Brawner is planning to file for divorce.
McCrary has yet to comment on the allegations, but it’s not the first time he has been slapped with a restraining order – his second wife, hip-hop video vixen Karrine Steffans, previously accused him of beating her with a belt in front of her son in 2010 and then attacking her again in public months later. They divorced in 2011 after two years of marriage.
