Comedy legend Dave Chappelle has recruited The Roots, Childish Gambino, and pal Chris Rock for a new residency in New York City.

The funnyman, whose recent stand-up specials for Netflix became the most-viewed comedy specials ever on the streaming service, will take over the fabled Radio City Music Hall in August (17), and he’s bringing a string of famous friends along for the gigs.

Chappelle will perform 10 stand-up shows between 1 and 24 August (17), with musical guests also including Erykah Badu, while Trevor Noah and Ali Wong are among the other comedians set to join him onstage.

It’s not the first time Chappelle has delivered a music and comedy show for fans in the Big Apple – he previously staged a similar series at the same venue in 2014, when Kanye West, Janelle Monae, and Nas made appearances, alongside The Roots and Badu.
