Dave Grohl dedicates song to young stage invader

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl thrilled a young fan at a weekend show in Australia by dedicating a song to him after rushing the stage.
The devotee had been among the attendees at the band’s gig in Perth on Saturday (20Jan18), when he managed to evade security guards and climb up onto the end of the runway-style stage as the musicians performed their hit Everlong.
In video footage of the incident, the guy can be seen approaching Grohl and giving him a hug, before bodyguards were able to apprehend the youngster.
As the music came to a halt, the youth identified himself as “Jevon with a J”, as the singer then firmly, but politely, asked him to leave the platform.
“Sorry Jevon with a J, get the f**k off my stage!,” Grohl quipped, as other members of the audience burst into laughter.
The rocker then proved there were no hard feelings towards the fan by resuming the track and declaring, “This one’s for Jevon with a J…”
