The members of David Bowie’s longtime backing band are regrouping to perform the late music icon’s hits at a show scheduled for the anniversary of his death.
Earl Slick, Adrian Belew, and Gail Ann Dorsey will be among the musicians taking part in the gig at New York’s Terminal 5 on 10 January (17).
Billed as A Very Special David Bowie Concert With Bowie People Playing Bowie Music Bowie Style, proceeds from the concert will benefit Arts in Education.
Bowie lost his battle with cancer on 10 January (16), two days after releasing his final album, Blackstar, which was nominated for four Grammy Awards on Tuesday (06Dec16).
