The X-Files co-stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson became a musical double-act on Tuesday night (12May15) when they sang together at a gig in New York.
The stars, who played FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in nine seasons and two spin-off movies, reunited at Duchovny’s concert in the Big Apple this week (beg11May15).
The actor performed at the city’s Cutting Room venue to celebrate the release of his debut album, Hell Or Highwater, that day, and during the show, Anderson joined him on stage to sing Helpless by Neil Young.
Duchovny planted a kiss on his former co-star’s lips before she left the stage, while another surprise guest at the show was Madeleine Martin, who played his onscreen daughter in TV series Californication. She took to the stage to sing the title track of Duchovny’s album with him.
Duchovny and Anderson are bringing their cult sci-fi show back to TV next year (16).
