Former Disney star Debby Ryan has apologised to her fans following a DUI arrest last week (05Apr16).
The 22-year-old Jessie star was apprehended by police after crashing her Audi into a Mercedes. She just failed a field sobriety test and was charged with two misdemeanours driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher.
After the news was first reported on Wednesday (13Apr16), Ryan tweeted out an apology to her fans, writing, “Over the last few days I have had the chance to think about my actions, and I wish I had used better judgement.
“I recognize that I am a role model and have always worked hard to set a good example for my millions of fans. I am so sorry to disappoint everyone.”
