Edward ‘E.J.’ Scott has Choroideremia (CHM), a degenerative condition that eventually robs sufferers of their vision, and he is walking with the aid of a white cane.
Despite his health issues, he is tackling a marathon challenge in a bid to raise awareness of the disease, leaving Woll in awe of her partner’s dedication.
She tells Men’s Fitness magazine, “E.J.’s a big dreamer and most people who get big ideas have trouble following through. I know I do. But I learned very quickly that when E.J. puts his mind to something he achieves it. When he came up with the idea for the 12 consecutive marathons, I knew it would happen.”
