Dee Snider in court as brother-in-law’s killer is jailed

Rocker Dee Snider was in court in New York on Wednesday (24Apr13) to see his brother-in-law’s killer sentenced to life behind bars. Christian Tarrantino, 46, was found guilty of murder and conspiracy charges relating to the death of three men, including Vincent Gargiulo, the brother of Snider’s wife Suzette, who was gunned down in New York City in 2003.
He was back in court in Long Island, New York on Wednesday (24Apr13), and Snider was there to support his wife, who addressed the judge before the sentence was passed.
The singer stood by Suzette’s side as she told the court, “Vinnie (Gargiulo) thought Chris (Tarrantino) was his friend. Vinnie would have died for Chris and it’s ironic because Vinnie did die because of Chris.”
The judge handed Tarrantino three life sentences.
After the hearing, Suzette wrote in a post on her Twitter.com page, “Justice has been served. My brother’s murderer got three life sentences. It’s finally over.”
