Def Leppard launch beer brand in America

Def Leppard have become the latest rockers to launch their own beer.
The brains behind the Rock & Brews restaurant chain and bosses at Seattle’s Elysian Brewing have teamed up with the Pour Some Sugar on Me hitmakers to create Def Leppard Pale.
The new brew will be available at Rock & Brews restaurants throughout the United States later this year (18).
“Rock & Brews celebrates everything that is rock and roll and is the perfect place for fans to indulge themselves with a cold Def Leppard Pale,” says Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott.
According to a press release, the new beer fuses the “infamous malt bodies of British ales with the mysteria of Pacific Northwest hops.”
Def Leppard joins Iron Maiden and Motorhead among the heavy rock acts who have launched their own beer.
