Actress Denise Richards has worked up a sweat over her recently installed air conditioning system by suing the company behind the job. The former Bond girl claims the contractors she hired to put in air conditioning at her Los Angeles property have ruined parts of her home, as well as the electrical layout and the roof.
In legal documents filed in L.A. earlier this week (beg29Jul13), Richards suggests parts of her home are now unbearably hot and there are sewer smells in the attic.
She also accuses firm bosses of overcharging her, demanding $3 million (£2 million) instead of the agreed $1.6 million (£1.1 million).
Richards is seeking more than $1 million (£666,000) in damages, according to TMZ.com.
