Designers offer to dress Bebe Rexha following Grammys dress outburst

Christian Siriano is the latest designer to offer to dress Bebe Rexha for the Grammys after fans got in touch with the inclusive fashion star.

Bebe called out the fashion world on Monday, revealing she can’t find a designer to dress her toned U.S. size 8 (U.K. 12) frame because they deem her “too big” to wear their creations.

While she didn’t name names, she let the people in question know that she is now no longer interested in wearing their outfits.

Numerous labels have since reached out and offered to dress Bebe, who is up for two awards at the annual prize giving on 10 February (19), with Christian the latest to get in touch.

“Thanks everyone for thinking of us. We have dressed @beberexha a few times and would be happy to do it again for her,” he wrote on his social media accounts.

Christian previously swooped in when Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones publicly revealed no designers would dress her for the premiere of the rebooted film franchise.

Since winning reality TV competition Project Runway in 2008, the 33-year-old has become known for his inclusive attitude to style and fashion.

Michael Costello has also offered up his designer services.

“I don’t blame her for being upset, I’ve been friends with Bebe for a really long time, I’m sad that she didn’t call me first because I would have said yes,” Michael told TMZ. “But I still offer to dress Bebe.

I’m going to get bashed for saying this but, I’m with her. F**k those other designers who only want to dress the size two girls or the girls who are presenting or the nominees.”

August Getty, Tanya Taylor and Elizabeth Kennedy are among the other fashion stars to get in touch with Bebe ahead of February’s ceremony.
