Dierks Bentley achieving dream of curating music festival

Country music star Dierks Bentley is turning his dream of curating a music festival into reality later this year (18).
The singer is putting together the Seven Peaks Music Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado on 31 August to 2 September (18). It will feature performances from Bentley, Miranda Lambert, the Brothers Osborne, Elle King, and many others.
He also wants to take in the festival as a fan.
“I don’t plan on sleeping,” he tells Billboard. “I plan on either being onstage or in the campground, high-fiving people, handing out free beer… Anything I’m involved with, I’m involved for a reason. It’s not work. When people look back on this festival, the first year, (I want them to say), ‘Gosh, he was everywhere! No one was having more fun at the festival than Dierks was’.”
The country star is also working hard to ensure festivalgoers get the best experience he has to offer.
“It’s all about the experience, and I’m a little competitive,” he says. “I just want people to walk away feeling like there was so much thought put into each and every fan having the best experience of their life.”
“It’s a dream come true situation for me…,” he adds.
