Music producer Diplo is aiming to set a new world record with a mass ‘twerking’ dance-off. The beatmaker is hoping to attract thousands of women to New York to show off their sexy butt-shaking moves this weekend (31Aug-01Sep13).
He aims to claim a world record for the most people twerking in the same place during his Twerk Wall event at the Big Apple’s Electric Zoo festival, according to Pitchfork.com.
Diplo – real name Thomas Pentz – has posted a video on Instagram.com appealing for “butts around the world” to join the event, adding, “Ladies we gotta pick u (you) ahead of time for Ezoo ok? If u (you) wanna be on stage email twerk4diplo@gmail.com.”
