Disney to provide list of riders who suffered brain hemorrhages

Reuters reports that Walt Disney Co. will comply with an order by a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge and provide a list of people who suffered brain hemorrhages on park rides. Disney balked at handing over the information to lawyers representing a woman suing the company over a brain hemorrhage she said she developed after riding the Indiana Jones Adventure ride. Pearl Santos, who was found unconscious at the end of the ride, later died from bleeding around the brain stem and a ruptured cerebral artery. Judge Madeline Flier has already fined the company $2,500 for failing to supply the names and said she would enforce further sanctions should the company not supply the names by June 25. A Disney spokesman on Friday blamed the delay on a computer glitch.
