DJ Khaled Drops 20 pounds Weeks After Becoming Weight Watchers Ambassador

Dj Khaled has dropped over 20 pounds since starting on the Weight Watchers Freestyle Program.

The weight-loss brand tapped producer Khaled as its new social media ambassador at the start of the month (Jan18), and during a recent taping of new singing competition The Four: Battle for Stardom, where Khaled acts as a judge along with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Meghan Trainor and Charlie Walk, he proved the diet has already started working.

“Don’t act like you don’t see what’s going on!” he grinned to ET. “Weight Watchers, I’m super excited about it.

“First of all, I don’t lose weight, I get rid of weight. All I do is win. I started at 293 pounds (133 kg), and this morning I weighed myself, and I’m 272.4 pounds (123.5 kg).”

Khaled is still enjoying food on the diet, he’s just sticking to the daily food points limit that Weight Watchers experts have worked out for him.

“The Freestyle Program, they’re not giving me no food, I’m eating what I want to eat,” the star said. “But obviously the key is to eat healthy. And if you maintain the point system for the day, you good. You great.”

His energy levels are also benefiting from his slimmer frame, with the 42-year-old admitting he’s been dancing while preparing meals.

“I’m in here, like, dancing in the kitchen. Catching a vibe!” he laughed. “It’s a lifestyle (change). I noticed other programs, you can get rid of a lot of weight but it comes back right away. The last three years I’ve been up and – I don’t like using the other word – I’m always up, but you know what I mean. I feel like this is so good for me because it’s a lifestyle. Even when I get where I want to be, at least I’m eating healthy, I’m disciplined and it’s a lifestyle I can maintain, and that’s the key.”
