Russell Crowe calls out magazine over Terri Irwin dating rumours

Russell Crowe is slamming magazine editors over reports suggesting he is dating Steve Irwin’s widow Terri, insisting it’s old news they have already dismissed.
Bosses at Australia’s Woman’s Day recently ran an article alleging Russell and Terri Irwin were having relationship issues, with the headline reading: “Terri & Russell At Breaking Point: Secrets, Lies And Betrayal!”
In the piece, a source claimed Terri is “heartbroken” she can’t go public with the rumoured romance because the actor does not want to commit – but Crowe insists the whole story is nothing but lies.
“Um… wtf (what the f**k)… am I living in a parallel universe?” he writes on Twitter, alongside a picture of the magazine’s cover. “Why keep doing this @WomansDayAus? @TerriIrwin & I have publicly called your bs (bulls**t). R U ok (sic)?”
His tweets emerge a year after Russell shot down early gossip suggesting he was dating the mother-of-two.
“I have such a dramatic life in bs magazines,” he posted on Twitter at the time.
Despite Russell’s efforts to dispel the relationship rumours, Terri was forced to address the topic in May (17), insisting he is simply “a dear friend”.
“He and Steve became friends many years ago and after Steve passed, you find out who your true friends are, and Russell has been very loyal as a great friend…,” she told U.S. news show Access Hollywood Live. “He’s a great guy but he’s absolutely just a dear friend. There’s nothing going on… We love his family and we’ll keep it just as friends.”
Crowe, 53, is no stranger to dismissing Woman’s Day articles as false news. In June (17), he refuted claims he was dating 22-year-old actress Sophia Forrest.
“Dear @WomansDayAus can you not stuff your s**t filled pages with deliberate lies about relationships I’ve never been in?,” he tweeted. “Thanks in advance.”
