Documentarian arrested at Congressional hearing

Josh Fox was placed in handcuffs and escorted out of a Congressional hearing about the suspected pollution of a water source in Wyoming due to hydraulic fracturing.

Cops were called in to the hearing following complaints by Republican politicians, who argued Fox did not have the correct credentials to record the discussion.

Fox was particularly interested in the hearing because it concerned the natural gas drilling technique which was the subject of his controversial Oscar-nominated film, Gasland.

Critics of hydraulic fracturing, aka fracking, claim the technique potentially contaminates water from the ground and puts air quality at risk.
