Donnie Wahlberg leaves large tip at Maryland restaurant

Singer and actor Donnie Wahlberg made a restaurant crew’s night by reportedly leaving a $500 (£400) tip on Monday night (26Jun17).
The generous New Kids on the Block star dined late at the Waffle House in Edgewater, Maryland and left the large sum for the employees who worked overnight to split.
“There were two servers and a cook, and he left a $500 tip for the three of them to split,” employee Jessica Reed tells People magazine. “They took a picture together and he was apparently really awesome.”
“When I came in at six o’clock in the morning, the overnight shift was bragging about it,” Reed adds.
After the visit, Wahlberg posted a photo of himself with the crew.
“Great crew at @WaffleHouse in Edgewater MD!,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thanks for the awesome service! Night made! #WaffleHouse!”
A picture of the bill was also posted online.
