Donny and Marie Osmond’s hair and makeup artist pal dies

Donny and Marie Osmond are mourning the death of their longtime hair and makeup artist Kim Goodwin.
The style guru had served as a member of the duo’s glam team for years, but was hospitalised in January (19) after suffering a “very serious health event”.
Marie has been keeping fans updated on his progress online, previously explaining he had undergone heart surgery to prepare for a quintuple bypass, but on Sunday (14Apr19), she revealed he had passed away.
The veteran entertainer took to Instagram hours after Kim’s loss to share a series of photos of the pair through the years, and pay tribute to her close friend in the touching caption.
“Waited until now to post this, but today I said goodbye to my best friend Kimmy,” she began. “He left this earth for a better place and although my heart is breaking and I know this hole in my heart will never be filled, I am so happy that he was able to leave this life knowing he was loved.”
The Paper Roses singer revealed Kim wed in Las Vegas after the siblings’ greatest hits residency show on Friday (12Apr19), just two days before he died.
“It was so joyful for me to see him experienced so much love in his final days,” she continued. “I miss you so much already my Kimchi but know you’re surrounded in God’s love! My dearest friend… #GodBeWithYou #TillWeMeetAgain #AngelInHeaven #Showstopper #One-of-a-kind”.
She added, “To all of you who met and loved Kimmy over the years, thank you for the outpouring of prayers & messages during these difficult months.”
Her brother Donny Osmond also shared the news with his fans on Twitter on Monday.
“I am heartbroken to inform you that my friend Kim Goodwin passed away,” he wrote. “Kim started out as our hair and makeup guru & eventually became like family to us. He was loved & adored by everyone he worked with. Our entire cast and crew will miss him dearly. Godspeed, my dear friend Kim.”
