Downton Abbey star Brendan Coyle is stepping back in time again to serve Mary Queen Of Scots in a new biopic.
Production on the historical movie is already underway, with Saoirse Ronan taking on the titular role as Mary Stuart, who tried and failed to overthrow her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I.
Mary was imprisoned, condemned to death and executed.
Margot Robbie will play Elizabeth in the new film, which also features Jack Lowden, David Tennant, and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Joe Alwyn, as Robert Dudley.
